Mesh implants from the Optomesh® family can be used in the laparoscopic methods like TAPP. The procedure is done with 3 tiny cuts, the mesh is implemented into abdomen using trocars. In the laparoscopic method the mesh is located in the sublay position (before the peritoneum, and behind the muscle).
